Unfortunately after the latest switch update (the patch to fix the patch), my ~90 hour near perfection farmer save on my partners' split screen farm won't load - as soon as I select the save to load, the entire game crashes. I've had no issues until this patch, my other farms (with 2 farmers in split screen) also load OK on this patch, and I can create a new farmer within this particular save in split screen without issue.
So seems it is something in particular to that farmer?
I've emptied the inventory via Lewis.. no change.
I've skipped many, many days, to no avail (I'm now having to use a new farmer, if I want to play with my partner)
The only thing I'd done recently, was finish JotPK - I hadn't yet collected the reward from my mailbox. Perhaps that's crashing things?
Classic Nintendo Switch, English, Multiplayer (split-screen).
Such a shame I can't delve into the save file on a Switch.. I am so devastated - we are at 98% perfection! And this save has been a massive bonding experience for us. Starting again just isn't the same :(
Any other ideas? Any chance this can ever be fixed? Anyone else had this kind of issue?
