Hey there! Information about the next Stardew Valley update comes out slow and steady before it pops up in everyone's Steam/GOG accounts. In this thread, I've compiled links to the information we have so far and what you might expect in the coming months. This thread may have 1.5 spoilers, so read at your own risk!
1.5 is the next version of Stardew Valley to come out, which will have bug fixes, adjustments, and gameplay additions. Big updates are typically indicated by a whole number, so we should expect 1.5 to be a bigger update. However, each update varies in the amount of content; for example, 1.3 added multiplayer and a few mid to late game changes, while 1.4 added a ton of quality of life changes and random additions from early to late game, including more story progression and a new farm map.

What to expect
- ConcernedApe typically doesn't give an estimated time for the update so it's something that doesn't affect development process. His last post about development progress (as of Nov. 13, 2020) is now in the "home stretch".
- The update will come out on PC versions of the game first, but unless there are massive technical changes (such as multiplayer) you should expect every other version of the game to receive the same updates. ConcernedApe tries to release console versions at the same time as each other, but it isn't a guarantee. Mobile should still get 1.5 even if multiplayer is unlikely.
- For now, we know that 1.5 will "address common requests from players, add new content, and have quality of life features and improvements". As of Nov. 13, 2020, we know that much of the new content will be late-game focused, but with some early-game things that might make starting a new game worthwhile.
