1.5 snow animation gives me a headache...

i recently updated to 1.5 on android, and i'm having a lot of trouble dealing with the new look for snowy weather. it's so busy and gives me a headache looking at it, and the snow goes crazy any time i change my zoom. i also think this is an accessibility issue, as it's flashy/static-y in a way that could potentially be dangerous for players with epileptic seizures and other light sensitivities. i'm sure there's a mod for it somewhere, but making the snow animation less busy would be very much appreciated. i think fewer flakes that are more spread out and fall slower would be great!

The game on PC and console has an option to adjust snow transparency, that would definitely be good to see added on mobile as well.

I don't remember if it was available prior to the 1.5 update or not, but it isn't currently.

I have serious eye problems. I play on 1.5 Xbox, and there is no transparency slider. I've looked so many times... Xbox also doesn't have the full-screen shot option that other platforms have.

Yeah I didn’t know there was a snow transparency slider until my pc version. It sucks. I mine my winters away or spend the time decorating my home or reorganizing sheds. It’s blinding outside. Even when it’s still with snow on ground and not moving. My best advice for mobile users (it should work on console if you adjust your tv settings) is use the night mode option and slide it as far right (warm) as it will go. It makes other things look funny in SDV but they are still viewable. Want it back to normal for non winter or other things non SDV just turn it off. Frankly, I use night mode option on all my devices all the time now as I have sensitive eyes. Tv I use cooler settings but anything up close I’m staring at all the time is warm or warmest settings. Just a tip.

that comes with xbox currently being on 1.5.4 while other non pc platforms are on 1.5.5 and 1.5.6 equivalents
