I tend to take the exact amount of seeds or speed-gro I need for a plot. I noticed when running to place these that I would run out before I'd finished with the plot, always ending up a few shy. I broke a sprinkler, which was on hoed dirt, and the speed-gro and seed was there on the spot...

In vanilla, this only affects Taro Tubers, but if higher crop growth modifiers are added either in future patches or by mods, it can affect other crops. The highest modifier in vanilla is 68% (Irrigated + Agriculturist + Hyper-speed Gro), and with Taro Tubers that results in 7 days removed...
