#skull cavern

I was doing a skull cavern dive during a desert festival (while playing multiplayer on the latest steam version). Ladder didn't appear when the frog spawned by Frog egg consumed last enemy in the infested floor, locking further progression into the cavern without a staircase.

I was breaking crates on a treasure floor in the skull caverns, but the crate breaking noise continued after I’d broken them! Every action I took afterwards lead to a crate breaking noise, and my game got very laggy out of nowhere. I just went home and saved the game before closing the app...

How do you get deep in Skull Cavern? I can only get to floor 20 with no staircases I see people get to floor 100-200 And how do you do it before 2 AM?
