paths

My fruit trees aren't growing and I was just wondering, do paths count as obstruction? Thank you for any info you can give, as I know next to nothing about this as I've never really used paths before on my farm! <3

I know they're not the most exciting things in the world, but most types of path are made from Wood or Stone. However there are two types of path made from Refined Quartz. Quartz is a devilishly common gem though. My paths are Refined Quartz just to get rid of some of it. We have so many types...
