I figured out that if I put the starfruit in I get the ancient seed! i planted it and used some fertilizer so I can get it before summer is over, I then slept and heard a owl and found the statue, the day after that the witch flew over I’m feeling very lucky rn

Hi there, I'm a fairly new player and I just woke up on my first year in fall and found this owl statue on my farm... Is there a specific meaning/use for this?

I was just playing on my farm, and when i went to sleep, i heard the owl sound. The thing is... my farm is almost entierly full of grass, so i don't know how it could have spawned. Was its spawn requirments changed in the last update?
