no music

Recently my game has stopped all music. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no luck. I'm hoping for a resolution that doesn't involve a computer.

1.5.4 unmodded I just noticed that special music is supposed to play in some cutscenes, and I've been missing out on all of it. In the Rain at the Lake cutscene with Abigail for example, only ambient sound was playing, and I suspect there are many more, where the music just didn't play for me...
