no energy gain

My energy bar is cut off and near depleted, no matter how much I sleep. In just a few hits of my watering can I'll end up passing out. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, I thought it was a mods issue but it's happening to the base game too even after I completely uninstalled...

On the most recent version, I was mining and trying to reach the 100th floor, and I grabbed the chest with the Stardrop Fruit at the same time I used the totem to teleport home. When I got home, it was like 0130, I thought I would make it, but I was frozen, presumably in the Stardrop Fruit...
