What the title says, normally dining tables take up 5 tiles each side, but sideways they only take up 4 tiles and look much smaller. Comparison. The legs on the top one don't take up a tile, so the difference is best seen in-game when you compare the space they take up.

When using right click to turn any of the endtables, they keep the drawer in the front instead of turning normally. You can still get them to turn, by placing the endtable onto another table, but it's very inconvenient and doesn't work sometimes.

This is the front and back of the Mahogany bench. It changes pretty drastically, basically turning into a different bench instead of keeping the solid design.
