geodes

I don't have Clint upgrading any tools, I have enough money, I have the geodes in my inventory, but the option just isn't there, I checked my other save and it isn't there either, I verified my files on steam, I really don't want to uninstall it and reinstall, how do I fix this???

When I break open geodes in Clint's blacksmith the picture freezes and it takes about one minute until I can go on. The item that was inside the geode hangs in the air in front of Clint. While I write this I break open some geodes. When I had to break open 20 or more geodes I could cook...

The game freezes for a while everytime I open geodes at Clint's shop. It will freeze when the item inside the geode shows up
