dissapearing bait

Hello, I had an error/bug where when I switched bait attached to my fishing rod from regular bait to deluxe bait, and also when I switched from deluxe to regular bait, the game is reducing my stack of baits to 1, both in my inventory and attached to my fishing rod. I'm not sure what causes...
