disappearing buttons

Me and a friend of mine have been playing multiplayer stardew for years, but recently have started having issues. Usually, when one of us hosts a farm, it'll show up in the 'Join' menu, without needing an invite code, and we can connect from there, but now they don't, and the 'Invite Code'...
