completed guild quest

I've completed the community center and I'm working on the Missing Bundle. I've completed the Pepper Rex guild requirement but have yet to find a dinosaur egg. It gives me different bones. I'm worried this is a glitch because my game has another glitch where I can give the villagers ANYTHING...
