Keyboard‑Only Mode for Stardew Valley

Confirm menus with Enter/Space, cycle tools with Q/E, and forget the mouse. Lightweight, simple, and fully configurable.

Features

• Menu Confirm with Keys – Press your chosen confirm keys (default: Enter / Space) to simulate a left-click on the focused UI element.
• Toolbar Cycling Outside Menus – Quickly switch between toolbar slots using Q/E (configurable).
• Cursor Hiding – When menus close, the cursor automatically moves to the bottom-right edge, staying out of the way.

Requirements

• Stardew Valley 1.6+
• SMAPI 4.x
• GMCM

Install

1. Install the latest SMAPI
2. Download this mod, then either install it with your preferred mod manager or unzip it into Stardew Valley/Mods.
3. Run the game using SMAPI.

In‑game options (important)

• Turn ON “Use controller‑style menus”.
• Set “Gamepad mode” to “Force on”.

These enable focus/snapping so confirm works reliably from the keyboard.


Controls

• In menus: Enter/Space trigger confirm(can be configured). Escape exits menu.
• In gameplay: Q/E cycle the toolbar (configurable; on by default).

Config
Created on first run at Mods/KeyboardOnlyMode/config.json:
If you install Generic Mod Config Menu you can change all options in‑game.
