Spotted today outside in the garden while having Sunday breakfast in the sunroom : a few small birds at the feeder, a great spotted woodpecker and a magpie chasing each other up and down the pear tree (seemed that woodpecker was trying to crack a walnut and the magpie trying to steal it), a jay, unfazed by all this, burying a nut in the lawn, and a green woodpecker in the apple tree, eyeing the whole scene critically... The only ones that haven’t shown up yet today are the two squirrels from next door—and the neighbor’s cat, either.

I never saw that movie. Another slow-tv production that's been done several years now, is The Great Moose Migration, which runs a few weeks each Spring at a place where moose like to cross a river. Mostly just like a window to nature, and schools have found that it makes the classrooms calmer if they've got that show running. I doubt the puppy slow-tv would have the same effect. Well, the classroom might be calmer, but they'd not be focusing on learning anything from the teacher.
It's a great movie!

It feels like I did very little today. Had an archive workout session, moving a lot of archive boxes, then had to rest up. Still not recovered 6 hours later, but I did make space for some of the stuff going onto the shelves.
