Android Unable to transfer my saves from phone to ohone

Hello,

My daughter got her save on my work phone, but it will get wiped in 2 days. I have googled and asked AI about how to copy and port save files, but the info I got seem to be outdated, because it doesn't work :(

\- work phone is a XCover Pro 6

\- target Phone is a Pixel 10

\- I have tried using a File explorer (Zarchiver) on Xcover Pro, but he can't see past com.chucklefish.stardewvalley: Access is denied. Since it is a work phone, it may have some security I can't disable.

\- but the Same zArchiver gives me the same error message when I try to locate the save files in my Pixel10... so there may be some setting I need to enable ? I did accept .Access to all files the first time I installed it though...

\- After many failed attempts I have tried connecting the old phone via USB to my home laptop. Took me while but it worked, I could go to the Stardew folder, locate the Saves folder and back it up on my hard drive.

\- doing the same process on my P10, I have copied over the backed up Saves from my laptop, but low and behold, they simply don'T show in games when I launch it afterward.
\- in Windows, I do have show hidden files option turned on
\- no file in the Chucklefish folder has any extension. No .bin to remove..

Help please ...?

Android user here. I also had that problem and used RS File Manager that explains all the steps to get files from the android folder. There are also some videos on youtube that show how each step is made. Hope this helps.

Regarding this part, I feel like you just copied the files onto the downloads folder, perhaps? You have to move them back into the chucklefish folder in the android folder. That is what rs file manager will help you do. If you copied the folder that says saves and as all the save files inside it, all you need to do is paste it into the folder named files inside the chucklefish folder. If the files folder is not there (don't remember if it always there) all you need to do is make a new save in the game and the files folder with a folder named saves inside it will appear, then you just replace that saves folder with your own. If you just copied the folder with you save (name_12334698) just paste it inside the saves folder that has appeared (as mentioned before).
This should solve you problem.
Hope it helps.

I will try tonight... But just to clarify:
- I already copy the when Save folder from my old phone to a generic folder I created in the C drive of my laptop
- I copy the whole same save folder back to the new phone, under the same Chucklefish path
- since that doesn't seem to work, I also try to copy each individual save games folders in the new Save folder to no avail.

I will try RS File Manager!

Another attempt, another fail....
This time I tried with RS File Manager;

- install RS on both phones
- copy the whole save folder on my Google Drive, to try something new
-;took the same Save folder, now on my Google Drive, and copied it on my new phone, killing in the process the bogus save I had created there just to test the game
- opened the game.... Nothing. ;(

Thank you a lot for the try thought, really appreciated!
