Windows I can no longer click if I have to type in a text field, or if I tab out of the game!

I play on Windows 11 PC. I use a keyboard & mouse, and I have the game through Steam.

I've been playing Stardew on and off for about a year now, and suddenly I have run into the issue where the game will randomly stop allowing me to use my mouse to click/interact with stuff. I am noticing that it is most commonly happening if I have to tab out, which as I streamer I have to do frequently, or if I have to use a text field, like to name something.

I have tried changing my game settings, I have gamepad mode forced off, I have disabled controller support through steam, I have tried changing my game resolution, I have even tried changing the display style between fullscreen to windowed borderless. I even updated my GPU drivers that just had an update come out yesterday. I verified integrity of games file and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and nothing seems to be a long term fix for this issue. It makes the game virtually unplayable, and makes me sad because I love Stardew and really want to play.

I am on the latest version, update 1.6, so I'm thinking it has to be something that got broken or corrupted in the latest patch, but then you'd think it would affect all players and not only some, so I don't know.

Please, please, please find a fix for this ASAP. I would love to be able to play and stream it again.

I'm not uploading my save because this can even happen in the main menu, so I don't think a save file would really be helpful here sadly.

I had a similar issue where some keys like shift and the windows key clicks stop working. I was able to fix it by going into the settings and turning on compatibility mode and running as administrator. I don't know which one fixed it, but here is what i did.
1: Open files
2: Go to "this pc" and choose Windows-SSD
3: Open program files (x86)
4: Open Steam then steamapps
5: Open common
6: Find and open the Stardew Valley folder (The list should be in Alphabetical order)
7: Right click Stardew Valley (The one with the stardew valley chicken icon)
8: Open properties
9: Go to compatibility
10: Click run as administrator and run in compatibility mode for: (whichever you want, I don't think it matters but I choose windows 8)
11: Hit apply and ok
I hope this help because this was driving me mad, especially because it was so specific to which keys would make everything just stop.
