Governer's Vacation Home Idea

Just participated in the Luau again and had a lightbulb moment when the Governer says he "must speak to the missus about purchasing a vacation home here." Would be really interesting to be able to build the Governer a vacation home that he could purchase from you. You would have to gather a bunch of materials to build it, but get a bunch of money in return for doing it. Then he and his wife could spend a couple weeks out of the year there at Pelican Town where you can slowly build up friendship with them and eventually have them send you gifts in the mail too.

Maybe CA could add another screen somewhere near/on the beach, like have a little path that leads to the area somewhere. Or even add a screen between the shortcut you open up on the beach and Cindersap Forest. That way, opening the shortcut would also be a prerequisite to building it. Or add it to the area on the right side of the beach that you unlock after you repair the little bridge for 300 wood.

Well, maybe Pierre and/or Lewis would be very pleased to have some "adequat" company, but... no.
Perhaps just marry Elliott and then rent his cabin to the governor, that would suit him as a vacation home, but... no. Even Elliott can't be annoying enough to deserve so

I definitely agree some of the characters' personalities are questionable/approaching immoral (probably my least fav part of the game honestly because I play video games to escape the stupidity of real people lol) But I was wishfully thinking the Gov could also have more of a "jolly Santa Claus" or "grandpa who spoils you" kind of vibe, especially if his wife came along too. I know it seems ill-suited to his job/position but irony is fun sometimes lol. I also just really want a new place to build, but feel like putting another Ginger Island type farm for us to use is redundant. Perhaps another new villager entirely with a new home/area on the map would be better. It'd just be easier to work off of one that already exists & I liked the idea of a jolly old couple that makes you think of your grandparents. (I love Evelyn but she's reserved, and George is very bah-humbug/negative also) But yes, I couldn't agree more that some of the villager personalities are kind of terrible and it's definitely not my wish to add yet another one.
