I don’t know if this is possible or not, but I am trying to get to Ginger Island by the end of Summer Year 1. I am also playing on Switch. Has anyone done this before on a Switch? If so, any pointers?

While there are seeds that will let you finish the community centre in year one, finishing it by the end of summer sounds HAAAARD. I'm guessing Joja route is the only way to do it?

very doable, on the Joja Route at least. [Some youtuber even did a video on getting to Ginger island by the end of Spring, believe it or not. EDIT: the main requirement game seed-wise was Leah being a Y1 Desert Festival vendor and buying the hardwood from her, IIRC]

maybe using the forest farm for more regenerating hardwood stumps? (200 hardwood does take quite a while)

you'd need a lot of money and a lot of hardwood (and some practice/skill at skull cavern diving to get the batteries and iridium in time)
