1.6 Update What happened in your game today?

That's a point, but unfortunately the game doesn't distinguish between them at all, which can be a bit annoying sometimes.
If we get down to the mechanical level, Penny could be to alcoholic gifts as the Training Rod is to advanced fish. Oh, we got beer from the randomizer? - Let's just make that - a parsnip.

We don't know why Seb hates beer. If it's "slightly fermented malt-water made funky with hops? I'll pass," it's a reasonable gift to give to most villagers.

Ray had quite a busy Winter. Rearranged the farm a bit for spring, had Robin build him a few more Fish Ponds, two Ostrichs hatched and he got two more masteries (Foraging and Mining). He started planting an orchard outside the Greenhouse and visited Mr Qi in his cave. With the "Blessing of water" Ray managed to fulfill the "extended Family"-Quest, so the Ponds are filled now except for one. He gifted Robin a Goat Cheese for the Winter Star Feast and got a Beer! from Pierre 🤨... And finally proposed to Maru at New year's Eve, so they got married at the beginning of Spring Year 4. Gifted her his last Stardrop tea for marriage and she was quite happy. Hopefully he doesn't miss Evelyns Coffee-Maker Quest this year, the kitchen somehow feels empty without this machine.
So he's looking forward to the Desert Festival for a few more Skull Cavern runs and the first Flower Dance with his wife ☺

On summer 20 farmer Bradley finally got enough coin to buy a cellar upgrade. Also managed to complete the raccoons first request and watch him get a girlfriend. Finally got some ancient fruit set up in the greenhouse and even made some wine to age already that just got done. Also, my lovely, precious Penny gifted me with a stardrop for being such a rich gifting hubby. I ate it and was immediately shocked to see the description when I ate it that said, "the taste reminds you of pregnancy". EXCUSE ME?!?!?! The....TASTE...reminds you of pregnancy?!?!?! ...... welp lmfao. My last stardrop said that its power "filled me with thoughts of pregnancy."

Farmer Bradley looking to plant more than simple corn seeds this fall season...

It says it reminds you of whatever you put as your favorite thing. You must have put pregnancy 🤣

Had Robin build another pond, and taking advantage of being able to collect roe without having direct access to the pond on mobile. Spent most of the Night Market deep-sea fishing. Smoked those fish, and got fewer seaweeds than expected. Probably enough for the last few ponds unless I decide I want some in the quarry. Gold chicken coop one chick away from being full, and the general coop has got a gold chicken too, so there's all colors there. Some gold chickens have been fed crackers, and I need to make some more mayonnaise makers for it. And maybe a few more for the ostrich barn which will take care of some of the extras.

Almost at the Feast of the Winter Star and have an emerald ready for my "secret friend" Penny.

Ooop. Welp, 🤣😂 You dont wanna know what I named my farm for that to be one of farmer Bradley's favorite things lmao.
You can change your favorite thing and appearance if you befriend the Wizard to 4 hearts so he allows you to go into his basement. Costs 500 G, so not all that expensive either.

ETA: There's a backdoor to the Wizard's basement if you complete the Community Center or the Joja route, then visit the railroad and complete the side quest that starts there.

Today in my game Abby told me she dreamed our daughter would become a monster hunter, and she's started designing a little armor for her... Hmmm - I don't know how to feel about that. The poor kid can't even stand up in her crib yet, and already Abigail is projecting her dreams onto her little brain... :unamused:

Also, I trekked up to the summit to watch the Perfection Parade... I love it when you use no JoJa services and the Morris avatar sort of gets kicked off the banner...

Reached year 6 and took another snapshot for my progress thread. Built a house for Pam and Penny, and remained anonymous. Now to "save" up for the second community upgrade, despite knowing I'd just need to sell off one of the lower value stacks to afford it. Finally got around to upgrading the watering can to gold.
A few days before the Egg Festival I built another pond, and used a good luck day and some treasure totems to get a cracker for the pond.

I don't know if the SMAPI launcher changes things, but I just did the Harvest fest and managed to lose 3000+ star tokens. I kept plugging away at those green bets and finally maanged to get my stardrop, prize ticket, and rarecrow, though. In this current save I've not been bothering with the community center, and I'm trying to remember if I've ever pursued the dark side of Joja. 10 hearts with Haley, 8 hearts with Penny.

Didn't go to the Egg Festival, thereby letting Abigail win the egg hunt. Got past the Desert Festival of year 6 and used up about 75% of my staircases during those three days. Got Elliot's Pencil and the hat he trades, as well as a retro TV from George, and a few other things. Got a fair harvest on the last day of Salmonberry season, and now I'm facing one of those days where it seems like every single processing machine needs tending to.

That's true, after spending three days in the desert, there're lot of chores to do.During the festival, I only do the bare minimum on the farm so I can spend as much time as possible at the Skull Cavern.
