Android Player freeze in mine when in multiplayer

I play in a multiplayer lobby on mobile with someone else (in the same house/same room) and my player keep freezing in the mines while the monster and other player are still able to move.

Ive seen multiple post about this same problem since 2021 and its still not fixed.

Is it possible to fix it on your side Concernedape? Its really annoying and just take the fun out of the game. Even if its only 5 bucks i would like to be able to play the game whole. Sometimes on the same floor i need to restart the game and get back in the lobby 6-7 times in a row ive never seen that in any game.

I tried looking at my settings, closing the other app on my phone and even switch wifi and its still doing that

Multiplayer is experimental and very much unstable. You'd have to wait for CA to make multiplayer a official feature for mobile first.

And when is that? (I know you probably dont have the answer for that) But I mean why add more feature like more People to get married to before making multiplayer an official feature.

Sorry its just really pissing me off when you just wanna play a bit to relax after work and you just keep freezing. I mean whats the point of having a cellphone last generation when you cant even play a flash game like this without problem

It's not your phone's fault. If you have a phone with even 4 gigs of ram and a bad Mediatek it can still crush Stardew. It's not Genshin Impact. It's the game's fault and hopefully it gets fixed.

Also on the topic of Genshin even that can run easily 30 fps on a last gen phone. Phones are really strong now.

Yeah it will be so much better if multiplayer improved and became a full feature. The game would be really fun to.play then.

There is no release date for the next mobile patch, but I hope the devs can fix this freezing issue soon. In the meantime, one temporary solution you can use for this is to drop an item into the frozen character's inventory, and they'll be able to move again. Another, more permanent method to prevent multiplayer characters from freezing is to enable the joystick and buttons option within the game, which makes the player move with the joystick. Some players have reported the issue going away after switching to that option. I hope this helps!
