I've gone though my own bouts of mental illness and struggles, especially during this pandemic. SDV has really gave me an outlet to distract myself this past year and now a creative outlet. I don't write much having a career in STEM, but this is really allowing my creativity to flow. Warnings: Some topics around depression and self harm. You can read it here

This probably comes a bit late, but I wanted to share my reaction. The protagonist’s anger and bitterness are so draining that it made the story a rough read. I understand that depression can shape personality, and some readers might appreciate that authenticity, but for me, it reduced engagement.

Overall, I can see the story has fans, but this was my experience.

I sorta agree, I wish the protagonist had some character development, I understand the protagonists struggles but at some points it was hard for me to root for them
