1.6 Update Most profitable and fairly low maintanance animal?

Im in fall of year 2, my days are busy since i need to gather materials for the farm, and resources for a skull cavern run, i need a low maintanace, profitable animal for both my deluxe coop and barn, (by "low maintanace i mean something that doesnt need much processing, and preferrably doesnt need to be checked every day), i was thinking about something like a dino (once a week, can leave eggs in collector because of that one book so i dont need processing) or something like bunnies, ducks (i read in the wiki that if a duck swims it doesnt need to be fed so thats a plus for maintanaince), goats, sheep, even ostriches!

My question is whats the best animal with a profit/low maintanace ratio

PS: I do have one auto-petter from my last skull cavern run, and a couple spare animal crackers. And i still will have one of each other animal so that i have their produce. (sorry if this is badly formatted, ive never used a forum before)

Ostriches are about as low maintenance as dinos. An egg once a week (2 if given a cracker), and the egg turns into 10 mayonnaise of the same quality as the egg. Definitely less maintenance than chickens. You could have 7 ostriches for the same amount of processing effort as one chicken.

Sheep, don't be misled by the potential for cloth, sheep are still #1 for "low maintenance" when selling the wool raw. You'll need to be on the Shepherd perk for them to regrow their wool every day and they need to reach 4 hearts I think.
