iOS Character won’t move after completing the maze on Fall day 27 year 2

it isn’t frozen as the character still does its normal bit of movement but won’t let me move my character. It won’t save so I lose a day of progress every time I try to play. I am playing on version 1.6.15 build 24354

Are you stuck right outside your door following being 'teleported home' after leaving the festival?

If so, have you tried enabling tap to move and entering your house by clicking on the door

I’m stuck by the chest at the end of the maze. I’ve done it three times where I try to get the item and it just stops letting me move
