If I were gonna make a guess though, or a headcanon, I could see them being that kinda couple in town, where everyone knows they like each other, but they just haven't made a move for each other yet. I really like them, Granny especially. Old lil sweethearts, ones a bit crabby but I still love him too.

Once upon a time My mom sat in front of my dad in algebra one. My dad copied the smart girl in algebra one half way through the class. My mom went to algebra two early and then my dad failed the class. My dad later kept trying to date my mom but she always said no because he was your average player and my mom was a goody two shoes. Eventually in college they started dating and viola marriage and me!
