there are two colors in the hidden portrait behind the wizard's file, purple and tan abigail's hair is purple so it is pretty much confirmed and sorry that the purple isn't visible in the hidden portrait
the camera wasn't on flash so you just got to trust me or buy the book itself and it is a tiny bit of purple so just trust me

I dont get it.

Besides in the game there are a few dialogues that clarify that is not abigail actual Hair color, Caroline says she would like Abigail dyed her hair other color and in one of the Abigail events she ask what color she should dye her hair next.

I'm not 100% sure, bur Ithunk that gets retconned at some point. There is some line of dialogue somewhere that confirms that this is indeed her natural hair.

Purple isn't her natural hair color. Abby states that she dyed it but hasn't had to re-apply the dye, suggesting some magic afoot. Whether that's because she inherited magic from the wizard or her mother, or just has it herself (or you know, because no one in town grows or ages except the farmer's freaky children) is cleverly left up to the player's imagination. 🙂

He only says he's got a daughter in town, which rules out Caroline, since she's a mother. If Caroline was the wizard's daughter, he'd say he's got a daughter and granddaughter.

Abigail is the wizard's daughter. Every evidence points to that. And that her hand has five fingers is not proof. Vincent also has 5 fingers in the scene where he teaches the farmer how to clean spring onions. I don't know why you persist in wanting to think the wizard got intimate with his own daughter. Because the two of them ending up in bed was what made the witch break up with the wizard and go green with envy and rage.

He may not know he has more family in town but I think that's stretching it. Even with how much of a buffoon he is, I think he would know if Caroline had a daughter.

However.

Maybe he's not focusing on his :abigail: granddaughter because the circumstances of having a :caroline: daughter of course are far more primary in his mind as those events apply directly to him. The daughter is always forefront to his life experience, the granddaughter maybe comes up in casual conversation.

Or.

The Wiz knows that Abigail is not his granddaughter because as Pierre is oft to worry about:
“Does Abigail look anything like me? Don't tell my wife, but sometimes I wonder if I'm really the father.”
What Pierre also doesn't know is Caroline isn't the mother and years ago the Wiz leaned on dear daughter to take in a wee babe escaping from some tragic event involving extended family, and Caroline correctly decided that raising a baby that's somewhat related to dear old dad would be super wayyy better than raising a baby that's 50% Pierre.

Although i dont blame Pierre for been suspicious , he been a Brunette hair guy, Caroline been green haired and a daughter with purple hair, anyone will be suspicious.

By the Way is it Maru supposed to be from a different Demetrius marriage?, cause she is brunette but her father has black hair and robin's is Red.

no, it's a mix- her hair is dark red, her parents' hair are light red and black/brown
