Hey everyone, I'm new here! Just joined to pick up some tips and tricks that might make my first playthrough a bit smoother. I’m planning to jump in very soon—it’s actually next on my list once I wrap up the main story in Hogwarts Legacy. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Yes, and I kept the elf with me to look after the shop, although I expected more opportunities with her, thinking that I could change the interior or choose the goods to sell. The idea with the shop was good, but its implementation was weak. And the task with that poltergeist was also so stressful. I don't really like running around mazes and looking for a way out. But I liked the fight with that witch, even though in the end it all came down to a counterattack and 1-2 spells. Overall, I expected more from this quest.

Yes, all of what you said. At least this quest and the visual look of the Third Task were a nice departure from the similar feelings of many/most other tasks in the game but as usual the shop's use after getting it is minimal. The game world design is great I liked vibing and exploring a lot but the actual gameplay and interaction was not even close to what it should have been. Maybe sit and eat with classmates at mealtime? Have a simple RNG chat? A BFF?? Sigh. The community has been vocal (and IMO supportive, not nasty) about what should have been done so hopefully HL2 (if it happens) will address all of those complaints.
