As for one of my farmers, tonight, she was deep in the Skull Caverns, and a message prompted: "It is getting late..." A couple floors deeper, there was a chest... with an auto-petter in it. Hurray !! One or two floors below, she got a prehistoric floor and was able to kill the last Pepper Rex that was missing to reach perfection. Hurray again and back to bed in time. Was a good day it was!

That sounds like a great Skull Cavern run, would've been that even if you fell asleep shortly after getting the pepper rex, but made even better by being able to get home in time.
As for me, my new farmer managed to make 5 quality sprinklers by the end of Spring and got the recipe for lightning rods as Summer began. I'm used to the farming field being a horizontal rectangle, but on the forest farm it's a vertical rectangle. The "middle of the field" scarecrow will soon have to move though. I prefer to have them standing beside the field and not mess up my nice squares. A large field like this will require 4 of them, not quite at the corners so the middle will be protected too.
Also restored the mine cart system. So much easier to ensure I can get back home in time, or to get to Clint before he closes shop.
I find it a bit strange that Abigail doesn't comment on the player's progress in the community center. She did claim to sneak into there once (probably before Lewis locked the door), so she could easily do it again now that the door is unlocked. She wouldn't be able to comment on completed bundles since she can't read the scrolls (or shouldn't be), but definitely on completed rooms.

that's actually a really good idea. after all, you can't put in sweet gem berries to the seed maker. maybe make it so it's all mixed seeds, except the default chance for ancient seeds remains? it's astronomically low anyways, and you'd probably be better off processing some of the 4-day crops like wheat, snips, or garlic if you REALLY wanted those giant blue berries

I got so bored doing the community center on another save file I called it quits and went on to grab a joja membership.

Finally got the green rain event. More than half of summer passed before it finally came. Some of the trees I planted at the beginning of summer were already fully grown. Now I can at last craft my little money-making mushroom logs, and upgrade the worm bin. I refuse to buy deluxe bait from Willy. 20 times the price of ordinary bait? No thanks.
I also discovered that trying to extend the grove all the way down to the southern edge of the farm was a bad idea. Almost as if it was a challenge for the weeds to jump in and destroy the paving stones there. Woke up daily to the "the spreading weeds have caused destruction on your farm" message. Removed the southern-most line of trees and paving... No weeds appearing in the cleared space.
The size of that thing tho... It'll be a long time before I run out of space for mushroom logs.

Does anyone have a count for times a player gives a title drop like this? I am not sure when if I ever noticed it before.

Got the last dwarf scroll. For whatever reason I found the first one last this save. Now I can start doing some heavy bribery with the topaz I've gathered in my mine chest. The dwarf is one of the exceptions from my avoidance of gift giving.
Had planned on hitting the mine and working on the monster hunter goals (and mining and combat), but blackberry season struck. Now I'll mostly be running around shaking bushes for a few days. Might as well chop down some trees while I'm out and about. I'm trying to save up for upgrading the coop and the barn, but I'll need a lot of wood too.

Finally passed the 1000 hour mark yesterday, and also partially finished an old goal of dressing up a series of infinity weapons, dressing them up as weapons from certain NPCs at the Desert Festival, and maxing their stats and enchantments. I used diamonds and prismatic shards and these were the results.
I doubt I'll ever complete the set though without using the Item spawn glitch in this file. Next year I can get Alex's bat, but the predictor says I'll have to wait until Year 21 to get Haley's curling iron.

I told myself I'd never use the item spawn glitch, but I don't see myself playing this file until Year 21 and beyond tbh, especially not with 1.7 on the horizon.
I think once I finish Year 6 Winter, I'll do another farm map; one I've never done before. So far, I've only done the standard and meadowlands.
