iOS freezing up on ipad

Since the ipad update last week, my game will work for a few minutes and then it will zoom way in and i can only continue walking in the direction I was going. Can't open the menu or anything.

Me too, it happens too often and on top of all of that, the game doesnt save progress, which means whatever i do that day gets deleted, its infuriating.
