iOS Unable to pet animals in barns

The 1.6 update has made it nearly impossible to pet animals in barns on my iPad, especially pigs and ostriches. Since petting animals is a vital part of the game, I wish I could return to 1.5. Can you please fix this?

Yes I cannot seem to pet my animals either. Some are easy, some just won't pet at all. No matter how many times I click on it. Only happened after update. :(

I found a workaround that helps, athough not perfectly. If you stand behind and slightly above the animals in the barn, you can successfully tap them on their nose or the front side of their body. This doesn’t work as well for ostriches - I may just have to sell them.
