Solved [HELP] Unable to build

I'm playing on a Macbookpro. My son-in-law originally installed and bought the game for me. He hadn't played it before but he thought I would need help, so he originally made my character and skipped all the beginning parts about the community center and bundles, so I never got that part. So I made new characters because I was missing out on the quarry and the bus, etc. But then I couldn't build any buildings, other than updating the house. So I deleted all my characters and started over entirely. And I still can't build any buildings. I can demolish, but there isn't anything to demolish. Can anyone help me figure this out?

A macbook is a pc, not ios. Also did you try going to Robin and clicking on “Construct Farm Buildings”? Also, check if you have enough money and materials to build the structure.

Did you create a new farm map?

Can you take a screenshot of the menu at Robin's shop?
