PS4 [HELP][BUG] hardwood bug

Hi, I'm playing on the PS4 and the number of hardwood I have in my chest keeps dropping even though I'm not using it and am in fact adding to it. I have 2 different games going, don't know if my chipping wood in the one is affecting the numbers in the other somehow. It went from 57 to 27 to 21 over the past 2 real world days (a week or so in game time).

One save should not be affecting another. And there isn't a workbench next to that chest?

There is a workbench next to the chest but I'm deliberately but making anything that uses hardwood. I check what everything takes before I make it
