What are your Goals in Stardew Valley?

Nothing in special, just to try different maps and spouses and see, how far I can go. Do some funny things I've red about in the Wiki or here, create a cozy house and a well organized Farm and just enjoy it all. Perfection comes or it doesn't, it's equal...

My current farm’s goals were to get good at mining, get reasonably good at earning money, and marry all the spouses I am not planning to marry on other farms. Oh, and try the Joja route. First farm the goal was just to explore the game and learn to play it. For other farms it’s to try other farm maps and styles of play, such as a farm with lots of animals, a honey and flower farm, a mushroom farm, and so on. Oh, and marry different spouses.

I tend to have smaller goals, like a wanted to transform ginger island into a corn-beans-squash planting field, or I wanted to have a coop full of dinos, both of which I've finished now.

I had a save where I wanted everything to be about fishing, a completely fishing obsessed save. It was my first save I reached perfection, in fact!

I want to find the will to play the arcade games so I can get the type of perfection i craveeeee. And to hit true perfection beginning of summer year 3. My last 3 farms i've gotten perfection end of summer or early fall year 3

My first goal is usually get to the Desert Festival in year 1 before I've got to Floor 120. Needs G fast, so fishing. Then unlock the mastery cave so I can get all the goodies. Concurrently with that I usually get to Ginger Island, catch all the fish and unlock the Qi quests so I can get the fishing one. Then get the obelisks and the clock so it's just grinding away for G. I've done perfection a few times but once I have the clock and have nothing left to buy, I usually get bored and start a new save.

My current playthrough is a challenge with just one item for selling, food and gifts where the item is maple syrup. So my goal at the moment is get tappers. It's pretty grindy. But it's a rethink of my usual strategy which is to buy my way to ramping up. I have to keep my Gs for the bigger stuff. I might do another challenge with a bit more interesting parameters.
