One thing to do is to bring Caroline to 2 hearts if you haven't already, then visit the sunroom at the back of the kitchen at the general store. The tea saplings you get the recipe for sells for a fair amount.

Forage on the beach and sell the corals and sea urchins (and the nautilus shells in winter)

Do the stuff on the special orders board, and the requests you find outside the general store. Cash in on rewards when you need money, not as soon as the quest is done.

If you have moss left over from the summer and fall, plant some trees, preferrably pines and oaks. Then make mushroom logs and plant them between the trees. Mushrooms grow on the logs even in winter, and chanterelles and morels are fairly profitable. If you run them through a dehydrator or a preserve jar before selling them you'll earn more.

It's not very easy to make much money in Winter, so I'd recommend preparing for Spring, Coffee Beans make for great crops because you can replant them, start working on the Greenhouse bundles, etc.

A filled silo can take 8 animals through a winter. Keep the three you've got, but once you upgrade the coop, you'll find there are other kinds of coop animals, so you may want to avoid getting several of the same kind. You can stuff hay into the silo through the hopper in the coop so you won't have to carry it around all day.
The eggs from your chickens should be more than able to pay for their food. If you turn the eggs into mayonnaise, you can get all of them fed for a day with some money left over from just one jar, even if they still lay small eggs. If you befriend Marnie, she will sometimes send you 30 hay in the mail.

Oh ok thank you I started to make mayonnaise and it brought in ALOT of money so now I can start saving up for spring also should I plant grass in the winter? Or should I just hold out until spring

Any grass you plant now won't grow until spring, but if you plant lots of grass starter by the last day of winter in your fields, you'll be able to cut hay the very next day. Keep an eye on how much is in your silo when you cut hay; if you have enough grass, you'll want to pull hay out of the silo using the hopper and store that hay in a chest so you can cut more grass and stockpile hay in anticipation of next winter.

Thank you, btw do you always get hay when you cut grass or is it up to chance?

You can plant it in winter. While it doesn't grow and spread during winter, it should spread a lot in the night between Winter 28 and Spring 1.
