Switch Latest Update!!! [1.6.9.40]

Hey!! I got a latest update on my switch today when I open it, now it’s 1.6.9.40.

Anyone knows what’s the latest update about? I really hopes there’s update about the bug about the golden coconut can’t be exchange, raccoon list not ungraded….

I know for sure it fixes the island trader. Got my incubator this morning.

Theres a new bug now every item you gift is a loved item. I already read it on Reddit and yeah i tried it out: Alex loves stones now i guess

There's also a bug it seems when I took on the Crop Order quest. On the board it said 100 radishes but in my journal it says melons lol.

Can confirm it fixes the raccoon shop!

I play splitscreen and can also confirm the raccoon shop has expanded :)

On the downside:

• Trinkets were reset
• All items are listed as "loved" for all NPCs
• Volcano has not been fixed; if player 2 enters alone, it's empty

No word yet on the mines or the random crashes. I'll update as we continue playing.

I'm glad y'all are continuing to report issues. Hopefully they get this fixed up properly some day. It won't be soon, but they need to see it through before moving on to other projects. It's the right and only thing to do

Today's patch did not fix the random crashes (particularly after three in-game days) or the frozen mine levels. Huge bummer.

I'm with you. I love this game, and I appreciate CA for trying to add a bunch of new content, but this has been bungled so badly. Today's patch is such a disappointment.

SWITCH: Can confirm it fixed the divorcing your spouse bug, that would crash the game if you tried to divorce your spouse or ask Krobus to move out. It is now fixed and Abigail is gone and Krobus is my new roommate

I'm thoroughly frustrated with him and how he has chosen to handle the 1.6 situation as well. I know it isn't easy, and he is out of his depth. Personally I feel like a little more planning back then and a lot more transparency now would go a long way toward easing the tension he has built up with console and mobile players, but that's just my outside perspective. I really hope he and his team are still working on the remaining console bugs and issues. Some actual patch notes and a statement about what is currently in progress would be helpful, but I doubt we'll see any of that. Frustrating!

Krobus refusing to accept the void pendent wasn't fixed . I hope it's fixed soon, I've put off from playing Stardew for now because of it

It didn’t before. You could progress if your partner exposed a staircase. We didn’t have both of us in the mines tonight to check the update.

[Edit: turns out it seems to have been bad luck] Hard to tell if it's a bug or just bad luck, but I did a lot of fishing with the new update and didn't get a single treasure chest. Anyone else seeing this?
