Xbox Newest update crash

Tried to play through the whole day without interacting, went to bed at 11pm and it crashed while saving looks like no stardew for us this xmas folks

I can't find anything about PC, looks like just the xbox update right now

Same problem for me with the preserve jar. Also tried to trick it and use the axe, but soon as I placed the preserve jar and tried to add something new into it it crashed again.

Doesn’t matter if I start the save file in single or local coop mode. I also tried deleting the game and reinstalling.

Problem I’m thinking though is we managed to play 2 day on the latest update before this started happening.

Xbox Series X here - completely unplayable after the update. Picking up a single roe or aged roe, or interacting with preserve jars or kegs, all crashes the game immediately.

Epic fail of an update, how do we get it rolled back??

Yep. Xbox Series S Coop here. All interactions with dehydrators, kegs, preserver jars, casks, all crash the game immediately. We got a forced push update today to build 1.6.9 40 and suddenly cannot play through. Bummer. My daughter and I local coop and were looking forward to Xmas gaming together.

Also looking to see if it’s possible to rollback but I don’t think the Xbox lets you.

Playing online multiplayer on Xbox One / Series X, this is happening to us too — interacting with smokers, fishing up treasure chests, and even sleeping have all crashed the game. Haven’t been able to get through one day because of this.

Been playing for months with no issue before this update. Hopefully it’s fixed soon!

- Xbox series X - Played half a day collecting stuff, reorganizing chests in the mine and the house- went to open a chest outside, and it stuttered and crashed. Restarted the xbox, crashed again. There goes my plans for the next couple days. Foo.

Someone may have to do some digging on that, but I believe ConcernedApe himself would need to request it. He's hopefully relaxing rn though for holidays.

Same but also sleeping to try and skip the day and see if they would work the next day crashed it :(

Same is happening for us. Walk into shed, touch preserves jar and instant crash. Split screen doesn’t matter if host or second player touch them still crashes for both
