Wedding attire

I wish we could wear special outfits at our weddings. Like dresses for women, and suits for men. Normal clothes are bad for our weddings. Okay, it can be done, but still...

Could be an option, but it shouldn't be forced onto the player. I think its fun to make new outfits just for the wedding. Not to say that I always remember to do that tho...
Wasn't there a thing in older versions where male farmers were forced to wear a suit during the wedding? I've heard that somewhere but don't know myself.

IMO the biggest problem with Wedding attire is: you wake up in what you were wearing last night and are teleported immediately to the wedding, no Totem or Sceptre needed! It's likely the single most important outfit change for most players of the game and it's been 3 days since the Farmer gave the Mermaid's Pendant, followed by zero involvement. Farmer Bobbi forgets every time and well, if she's lucky it's a Tank Top, Cat Ears and a skirt. Often it's a Goblin Mask, Genie Pants and a Studded Vest.

Instead the game, for this one day, should have some timeless free play right after you wake to get dressed (if you didn't plan clothes at all, well that's on you) and if available yet in your playthrough, visit the Wizard's basement for a makeover. OOO!!! you could get a free single-use one-day-only Wizard Basement Totem as a pre-wedding gift from him in the mail when he "hears" you're engaged! This seems like a quality of life improvement that almost every farmer could use and they can just skip this timeless option if they want or if they do it like Farmer Bobbi did one year:

Give Pendant
Tailor Veil (save that Pearl from the Mermaid Show)
Tailor very dark Purple Long Dress
Tailor Midnight Dog Jacket
Dig up Dark Boots from the closet

Wear all immediately and avoid all townspeople, no peeksies!

Farm farm day 1
Go to the Mines day 2
Go to Skull Cavern day 3

Arrive at our wedding with hair all over the place, covered in dirt, Serpent guts, slime, random bones, Bobbiblood, voluminous cheez crumbs and smelling like sweat, stink, and dinosaur scales with breath reminiscent of leftover Spicy Eel.

Looking like the best thing that ever happened to this small town.

We could get a choice the night before like we do with the professions. Like do you want OptionA (wedding dress) or OptionB (tuxedo) so you don't even have to prepare any actual outfit. And there's the Flower Dance too where everyone is in dancing in their white outfits and you're the odd one out.

Yes a flower dance so bad. And choregraph so bad.
If you mean the farmer's dance I think it's kinda funny. Bad as a dance, but fun to watch. Especially since I play without sound a lot, so more often than not those crazy moves are complimented my complete silence lol.
Heard a theory somewhere, no idea if here or not, that no one taught our farmer the moves on their first flower dance, so they started doing those random ones and everybody found it so hilarious it became a tradition.
