It’s a new 1.6 Easter egg. You’ll find him in the secret woods and the left side of the cindersap forest around the wizards tower. This is not to be confused with winter mystery guy or strange capsule guy. New person entirely. I think they call him Bigfoot. Saw him the first time when I was in secret woods fishing. I was on the bottom of the pond and he darted right behind me scared the crap out of me lol! . I see it a couple random times of year but I check cindersap and secret woods for forage and wood regularly.

For context I'm playing a co-op winter game, and we haven't had the strange capsule event. The thing was TALL, about as tall as the tree it ran out of. Really caught me off guard, and I haven't seen any other posts about it! Any idea if this is some new easter egg?

Had my first sighting recently on a spring evening, near the pond in the secret woods (was looking to smoke some woodskip). Scared the bejeezus out of me, couldn't run back to the farm quick enough.

I think I saw something like this too, at the path that is near Robin's house and leads to the farm, just as I was about to enter my farm it was there, outside where it's possible to go :D

Put on a furry costume and silently walk up behind her while she is playing, for example in skull cavern. Then tap her on the shoulder.

I just saw this in the secret woods near the pond, scared the absolute piss out of me 01:10, Summer 18, Year 2. I hate it.

I’ve seen that too! It happened to me one winter evening when I was heading from the farm toward town, this super tall, shadowy figure darted out from behind a tree and took off before I could even react. At first, I thought it was just my co-op friend messing with me, but nope… it felt way too fast and creepy for that. I tried to follow it, but it disappeared into the snow. Glad to know I’m not the only one whose run into it!

Honestly, the size difference felt about like this between me and whatever that thing was , kind of like me standing next to an 8′10″ Bigfoot. No wonder it looked so huge and intimidating in the snow!
