Windows Out-of-Season Fish in Help Wanted Quest

Was on Summer 3 and there was a Help Wanted quest from Willy asking for Sardines to be caught, but Sardines are only in Spring, Fall, and Winter.
This is in 1.6 on Steam on Windows, single-player.

Getting the same, on Summer 4 of Year 1, Demetrius is asking for 3 Sardines. I am on steamdeck with some minor mods but bumping this since it seems it's not just me.

similar issue: on MAC computer, game version 1.6, single player, Summer of Year 3, Trash Bear requests a SARDINE. sardine is SPRING, FALL and WINTER fish. i tried, but could not catch a sardine in the ocean in summer. i will wait for fall to ask the Trash Bear and see if it changes it's request...or otherwise catch a sardine at that time.

the WIKI states this is a known bug: Sardines may be requested in a Fishing Help Wanted quest during Summer. also:

• 1.4: Removed from most Summer quests and garbage can items.
