Something you would attach to a sprinkler and load up, it would spread seeds to all tilled soil within the same range as the sprinkler any time it waters in the morning. So for instance, you have the Junimos harvesting crops, and the next morning, the spreader spits out seeds on the newly available soil. This would go great with crops that crow quickly, like once every four days (wheat). It would be sold in Qi's Walnut Room along with the other sprinkler attachments.
