So Im trying to develop this for two mods for horror immersion.
I wanted to have bachelor actively following the player on the map. hiding at times by plants, buildings, whatever is nearest when they go to hide, but also actively following them as they go. hiding if the player stays on a certain map for so long, staring at them.
I want this to not only be randomized in their schedule, im hoping to code them doing it on a whim on unimportant days, in time periods where they arent doing anything, and doing it based on seeing the player.
Id also like to include them running away when you get too close, pretending to act normal around the other villagers if they get too close, animated reactions and the pop up text above their head if they choose to speak (id also like to shade their face so you cant see it) and a randomized chance at night during thunderstorms to see a flash of a figure appear on the floor and in the window from a lightning flash inside your house.
I have no clue on where to start with this. I realized I can customize their schedule and make them wait at certain spots, but I wanted more than them just standing in spots i told them to stand in. I'm still going to add it to their schedule, but I really want them to actively follow the player on their without a set path as well.
I want to feel a lil bit of extra life and unexpected creepiness.
And is their anyway to do so without cloning the npc for it? I notice that the custom companions mods do that a lot. Im willing to do it if its the only way to get this to work, tho.
