Switch Crashing during Feast of Winter Star

My save file is a single player file on Year 2 of Winter 25th. Whenever I go to the Feast of the Winter Star and give my gift to Emily the game will start to load the cutscene to reveal my secret gift giver and then the game crashes. No specific error code is given, see attached photo. I did not have this issue in year one of this save file or any of my previous saves. Version is 1.5.4.2

me too i have the same issue i tried everything but I couldn’t fixed it so i had to skip the day without entering the event

I’m having the same issue on year 3, my secret person is Shane and changing the gift doesn’t seem to fix it either. The only thing that ”fixes the issue“ seems only to sleep until the next day or skipping the event by doing something else entirely. I’ve read from a year old post that it that said
it could be because Leo is supposed to be in Pelican Town by year 3, but I am unsure about this as I haven’t reached max hearts with him yet.

This exact issue is happening for me too, feast of the winter star year 2 but with Pam. I’ve tried three times now, I’ve restarted my switch and turned it off overnight to try and let it sort it itself out but no luck.

It doesn’t seem to be exactly the issue here but it’s long the lines of it, maybe it’s a tool issue? I’m going to try the day again with all of my tools in my inventory
