i just wanna see some 10heart events with some of my fav npcs, i don't like that i can't reach 10 hearts with em :c

Seb could be pissed off, try check your luck (if you have good luck you have less chances of him being jelous/finding out about your gift to another marriagable candidate), for gifts at least it works like this. Dunno for more than 8 hearts tho... you can try and see what happens

so i mustered up my courage, bought a bouquet and... gave it to Penny O.o she gave me her normal dialog, and Sebby didn't say anything... when I went to the friendship tab tho it said that she's still single, tho it showed the bouquet symbol next to her name.

well if you gift something to a date able NPC who is your spouses gender they will be angry. So that means you can gift as much as you want to the bachelorettes

Yes, you can date someone while married.

If that person is the same gender as your spouse, when you give a gift to that person, your spouse will get jealous.

Yes, you will see the bouquet forever, but the person will be listed as single because you are otherwise occupied officially.

Can't you get to 10 hearts just by taking them to the movie theatre to see a movie they like and buying them the snack that they want? I did that with three datable NPC's so far.

Yes you can I got married to Penny and I just got to 8 hearts with sma and gave him the bouquet if you date someone of the opposite gender of your husband/wife, they don't get mad at you

I'm not so sure of this. Friendship decay is re-enabled with spouses, meaning their hearts slowly decrease if you neglect your relationship. I have seen a player wondering why his spouse (Sebastian in this case) had left the house and brought his spouse room with him. I believe this happens if the spouse hearts drop near 6 though I did not find the exact value in the wiki.

No, they can’t divorce you. If their hearts get low, they’ll stay in bed all day and weint talk to you, but they can’t leave.

Yes they can (and rightfully so) get jealous. Though I think they only mention it for a week or something. Also most of the 10 heart events you kiss them in the scene so even in virtual world would be awkward (and of course irl lethal) to your relationship with your spouse. But I don’t think you get punished in the game except I think you get the cold shoulder for a week, or they might stay in bed all day, if they get jealous.

Wow I’ve never read this, but would definitely make sense and it makes it more like irl that way. I don’t think Harvey has ever gotten below 10 so they just nap all day and don’t want to talk and that only happens in the beginning if I didn’t get close enough to 11 hearts before wedding.
