really! We need something like that! I have friends that play on steam and I don't own an PC so I can't play with them! I think it's been something needed so we can play with each other

This is a popular and frequently-requested feature but CA has mentioned that it can't happen for technical reasons. I'm guessing it could require an entire game rewrite on all platforms and unfortunately that seems a very tall order.
