Tool Charging mod - request for update

Is anyone able to update this tool charging mod: https://github.com/mralbobo/stardew-tool-charging
https://github.com/mralbobo/stardew-tool-charging/pull/2 It looks like it hasn't been updated since 1.4 was released.

Alternatively, does anyone have suggestions for a replacement? I am already aware of the tractor mod.

here's my SMAPI log showing that the mod is no longer compatible:

(oddly enough, the empty hands mod in this log still works on my solo file even though smapi records an error, but the empty hands mod does not work when I play multiplayer in another file)

Maybe this can help speed things up? https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1089. You can configure the speed of many of the game's animations there.

It's a good mod and i'll keep it for its other uses, but the charging up of the watering can and hoe up to their widest area of effect doesn't seem to be affected by this mod. I have many indoor potted plants which need manual watering each day.

Have you tried the unofficial update linked from the compatibility page? (In case you've never seen it before, that page tracks the current compatibility status of every known SMAPI mod with both game and SMAPI version - very helpful! It is manually updated.)
