I'd never heard of this game before I bought my Switch a couple years ago. It was on sale in the e-shop for $10 and thought why not. At first, I didn't quite get it and the whole open-world/do-whatever-you-want setup of the game was actually kind of intimidating to me. Like there were SO many options it was overwhelming haha. Well, anyway, I decided to give it another spin a few weeks ago and I've been absolutely hooked! I found this forum when I was reading up on the wiki and had no idea there was such a massive fanbase for this game.
I'm on Fall, year 1. And though I've still got a lot to do, I'm making slow progress. Upgrading tools, building up my crops, working on becoming an angler, and trying to rebuild the community center. Trying to win over Leah's heart :)
IRL I've never even tended to a garden lol. I mostly play the game on mute and listen to the Grateful Dead because they're both so meditative by themselves and together :)
