I'm in year 3 of Stardew Valley on my Switch. . .no mods or anything. Shane has been stuck in his doorway at Marnie's ranch for an in-game total of about 1.5 years. I can see his head, but he just stands behind his doorway all day. I can't interact with him, and I only see him during community events like the Luau or Easter Egg Hunt. I don't have enough hearts with him to open his door, and there isn't an object blocking his path. Does anybody have any advice? Thank you! I have attached an image.
UPDATE:
I placed a bomb in front of his door in exasperation. I didn't expect it to work. . . But it did! Shane is free! I still don't fully understand what happened.
