Windows [HELP] Game Not Opening on Steam

So I bought and downloaded the game on steam but every time I try to open and play it, it'll say running and immediately close without even opening up a window. I've gone through and done the following but nothing works
Re downloaded the game
Re starting my computer
Validating the files through steam
Trying to open it up through the files or on my desk top

And none of those works.
Someone please help i just wanna play the farming game man q-q

Hello! I’m going to see if I can of assistance here. ^^

Here is one option to try, I don’t know if you have or not, if you have, just let me know, or if you do try and still doesn’t work, we’ll try another option:

“Step 1. Launch the Steam client on your computer.

Step 2. Navigate to the game Library tab from the top toolbar.

Step 3. Right-click Satrdew Valley game and select Properties.

Step 4. In the Properties window, go to the General tab and click on the Set Launch Options button.

Step 5. In the Launch Options window, make sure it is empty. If there is any content in the box, empty it and click on the OK button to save the changes.”



Side note;; I’m not sure if the above is what you are meaning by when you validated the files.

Additional side note;; I’m assuming you don’t have SMAPI installed, correct? It’s fine not to, I’m just wanting to double check is all. ^^
