PC [HELP] 1.5.5 Capped at 40FPS With SMAPI

Hey guys, I have a problem that I can’t seemed to be solved:
I can run the 1.5.5 beta fine, but once I add SMAPI to it, my games gets capped at 40FPS

1.5.5 W/SMAPI no mods: 40FPS
1.5.5 W/SMAPI mods: 40FPS
1.5.5 W/O SMAPI: 60FPS

All of my drivers are updated, and I have not downloaded anything that would cause this; I used to run Stardew fine with SMAPI on all the previous updates but this one

Any help would be greatly appreciated

This should actually be posted in the Mod Support section. It is clearly an issue with SMAPI, not SDV itself.
